![]() ![]() 0TB NVMe upgrade replaced a 512GB SATA PCIe blade. Originally, using BlackMagic, I measured about 450 MB/S for read speed, and with the upgrade measured around 1,490 MB/S. The disk speed, however, has about tripled. I am at a loss to understand why it boots slower since the drive speed is faster. ![]() This is quite a bit longer than the boot up time was before the upgrade. One strange difference I noticed was when booting up from power off, the boot takes longer than before, and at first, the screen stays completely black for 34 seconds before the Apple logo appears, and a total of 66 seconds from power on until the log-in appears. There were a few re-activations to accomplish like MS 365 Office programs and such. After installation, I booted into the external HDD previously cloned and used Super Duper again to clone the HDD back to the new Aura Pro X2. I had already cloned my existing drive to an external HDD using Super Duper software. Received product within 5 days with free shipping. ![]()
